MOSCOW, November 9 (Itar-Tass) —— At the beginning of 2013, the Russian Health Ministry will submit to the government two documents with suggestions on how to improve medical care to the population and personnel policy in the sector.
“At the beginning of next year we should hand over two serious documents: a set of measures to improve the quality and availability of medical care; and a programme for the development of personnel policy in the healthcare sector, which includes 83 sub-programmes,” Health Minister Veronika Skvortsova said.
As the Health Ministry specified earlier, regions should engage with experts in order to work out programmes for providing housing and decent salaries to doctors, especially in rural areas.
