MOSCOW, November 8 (Itar-Tass) —— The Russian government will hold a special conference November 26 on ways of reorganizing the space agency Roscosmos, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin, who supervises the defense-industrial complex, has said. He will make a report on the issue.
“On November 26 we are to discuss this work at Medvedev’s office. I will make the main report on what is to be done next,” Rogozin said. “At this point the findings of three groups of experts for the reorganization of Roscosmos have been put together.”
The space agency itself, Rogozin said, had suggested reformatting itself along the same lines as Rosatom - into a public corporation.
“Others took a different look at the problem and suggested borrowing from international experience,” Rogozin said.
