Militants in Dagestan explode roadside bomb, kill one police, injured seven

MOSCOW, November 8 (Itar-Tass) — Unidentified attackers in Dagestan have exploded a roadside bomb to hit a police patrol vehicle. One police was killed and seven others injured, the Interior Ministry’s press office told Itar-Tass.

The attack occurred near the village of Gurbuki at about 15:15 Moscow time.

Unidentified militants opened fire on the police car from the woods. The driver was killed and seven police injured in the shootout,” the press-center said.

The attackers escaped. Crime scene investigation is underway.
