Yuri Sadovenko appointed RF Defense Minister's staff director

MOSCOW, November 8 (Itar-Tass) — Yuri Sadovenko has been appointed to head the staff of the Russian Minister of Defense. An Itar-Tass correspondent received a confirmation of that from the Ministry's press-service and information department official on Thursday.

"By an order issued by the Defense Minister of the Russian Federation, Yuri Sadovenko has been appointed director of the Defense Minister's staff," the Department official said.

Lieutenant-General Yuri Sadovenko earlier held the position of the chief of staff of the Moscow Region administration. Previously, beginning from October 2011, he had been director of the staff of the Minister for Emergencies. He is reckoned one of persons most trusted by the new Defense Minister.
