Taking part in the forum that will last for a week are 2,325 delegates and “special guests” – the heads of ministries and departments, mass organisations, parties recognising the leading role of CPC, as well as prominent public figures.

The party forum will approve the “fifth generation” of Chinese leaders that will hold power during the next 10 years.
