KIEV, November 6 (Itar-Tass) —— The Ukrainian opposition will appeal in the Supreme Administrative Court a decision, which the Ukrainian Central Elections Commission had made over the rerun elections in several constituencies, and will seek for the victory of the opposition candidates recognized in these constituencies, one of the leaders of the opposition Arseny Yatsenyuk told reporters after a meeting with CEC Chairman Vladimir Shapoval on Monday.“We will file a lawsuit to the Supreme Administrative Court over all constituencies, where the election results are put in question, and will protect our candidates,” Yatsenyuk noted.
Leader of the UDAR Party Vitaly Klitschko noted that an opposition rally against the falsification of the elections will resume at 11:00 on Tuesday (13:00 Moscow time) in front of the CEC building. “We will protect our results in another eight constituencies,” Klitschko added.
The Ukrainian CEC ruled that the election results in five one-seat constituencies cannot be found valid and proposed to hold rerun elections there. The opposition insists on the vote recount and opposes the rerun elections in the constituencies, where, according to the opposition, its candidates won.
The parliamentary elections were held in Ukraine on October 28.
