VIENTIANE, November 5 (Itar-Tass) — Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has held a meeting with President of Laos Choummaly Sayasone.
The Russian prime minister pointed out that relations between Russia and Laos are developing successfully, and the “earlier reached agreements strengthen the partnership between the countries.”
The Laotian president for his part thanked Medvedev for Russia’s assistance in the training of military personnel. He also emphasised the friendly nature of the Lao-Russian relations.
Medvedev also met with Prime Minister of Laos Thongsing Thammavong.
“The two countries have traditional friendship relationship that is developing,” Medvedev said.
