Six killed, 9 injured in 2 major road accidents in Altai, Kurgan region

Two cars collided at about the same time on the local road in the Ketovo district in the Kurgan Region

MOSCOW, November 4 (Itar-Tass) —— Two major road accidents occurred in the Russian republic of Altai and the Kurgan Region killing six people and wounding another nine people, the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reported on Sunday.

“A passenger minivan collided with a car, killing one person and wounding another eight people at 11:55 Moscow time on the highway M-52 in the Shebalino district in the Russian republic of Altai,” the ministry reported.

Two cars collided at about the same time on the local road in the Ketovo district in the Kurgan Region. “Five people died of wounds instantaneously, another one was hospitalized,” the ministry said.

The investigations in the road accidents continue.
