MOSCOW, November 4 (Itar-Tass) —— The killed driver from the car depot of the Russian presidential property management department most likely became a victim of an armed robbery, the Russian Investigation Committee told Itar-Tass on Sunday.

“The Moscow Main Investigation Department of the Russian Investigation Committee opened a criminal case under Article 105 of the Criminal Code for murder and Article 162 for banditry,” the Investigation Committee reported.

The detectives found that on November 2 the driver was driving his personal car after the work. “He called up his wife at about 21:00 Moscow time and said that he is driving up home. However, he did not appear at home at all,” the Investigation Committee said.

The driver was found dead not far from his home. “His personal car, a mobile phone and other personal things were stolen,” the detectives said.

The investigation in the murder case and the search for the criminals continue.
