MOSCOW, November 2 (Itar-Tass) — The Russian Embassy in New Mexico has launched an inquiry into the death of Russian national Anton Alfyorov.
“According to reports, Russian national Anton Alfyorov who used to be an artist of the famous Cirque du Soleil circus died in a hospital in Acapulco (Mexico) on October 28 under unknown circumstances. Local police had detained Alfyorov, allegedly for violating public order, two days prior to the tragic incident,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Friday.
Consular section employees of the Russian embassy in Mexico are taking necessary measures to clarify the circumstances of Alfyorov’s death.
