YEKATERINBURG, November 2 (Itar-Tass) — Several drug rehabilitants were brought forcibly to the Yekaterinburg drug rehabilitation centre City Without Drugs, the press service of the Sverdlovsk regional investigation department in the Russian Investigation Committee told Itar-Tass on Friday.

“Today the searches were made at the men’s drug rehabilitation centre of the City Without Drugs fund within the investigation in several criminal cases, which were opened earlier under several articles of the Russian Criminal Code for illegal deprivation of freedom and causing death through negligence. During the searches several drug rehabilitants confessed to the detectives that they were brought forcibly to the centre,” the press service said.

The detectives are investigating all the details of their bringing in the centre, and are about to decide where the drug rehabilitants, who do not have a home to go to, can be brought.

Meanwhile, during the searches the hard disks of the computers and electronic mediums were confiscated. The detectives are examining them thoroughly for the information, which can help in the investigation of the criminal case. The searches in the office building of the fund continue.

It was earlier reported on Friday that Vice-President of the City Without Drugs fund Yevgeny Malenkin was put on the federal wanted list.
