PARIS, October 31 (Itar-Tass) — The Russian Defence Ministry and the United Shipbuilding Corporation (OSC) will start talks on the construction of the 3rd and 4th Mistral LHDs shortly, Russian Defence Minister Anatoly Serdyukov said.
Upon completion of the 10th session of the Russian-French Council for Security Cooperation on Wednesday, Serdyukov said funding for the construction of these ships had been put in the state arms procurement programme till 2030.
Since 2013 the ships will be allowed to be used, the Russian minister added.
