Three children kidnapped from shop in east of Moscow

Police have detained the car in which the kids were driven away, but no children have been found inside

MOSCOW, October 30 (Itar-Tass) — Three children have been kidnapped from a shop in the east of Moscow. The abductors escaped in a VAZ-109 car, Moscow police have put into effect an emergency pursuit plan code-named Perekhvat so as to track the car where the children are presumably kept.

The kids aged from three to five,who are the children of Kyrgyz citizens, were kidnapped from a shop in Novosibirskaya street. According to a preliminary inquest, the children were kidnapped after their parents had quarreled with their employer, law enforcers told Itar-Tass.

The information about the car in which the kids were driven away has been reported to all mobile police crews and traffic police posts, law enforcers said.

Police have detained one of the cars in which the presumed criminals kidnapped the children. But, no children have been found inside the car, the press service of the Moscow Head Interior department told Itar-Tass. An emergency pursuit plan code-named “Perekhvat” was put into effect in Moscow. As a result of police’s efforts the car has been found but with no children inside. A citizen of Kyrgyzstan who was inside the car has been detained as a suspect, the press service said.

The search for the missing children continues. Preliminary reports said the incident occcured after a conflict with the manager a shop where they work, the press service said. The criminals kidnapped three children aged from two to five. Their mother is a senior shop manager.
