VLADIVOSTOK, October 29 (Itar-Tass) — The trawlers "Ternei-1" and "Kapitan Gams", registered at the port of Nakhodka, on Monday joined in the search for the dry cargo ship Amurskaya that was reported missing in the Sea of Okhotsk. Together with the tanker Novik, they are surveying the area in the vicinity of Shantar Islands where the dry cargo ship, registered at Nikolayevsk-on-Amur, disappeared on Sunday, the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk sea rescue coordinating subcenter reported.

It is snowing in the area; a strong wind and storm waves are hampering the search-and-rescue operation. On Sunday, the efforts to find the missing ship were made by the tanker Novik and a BE-200 amphibious plane of the Russian Ministry for Emergencies. They did not find any traces of the missing dry cargo ship.
