KIEV, October 28 (Itar-Tass) — After Ukraine’s parliamentary elections “closer relations with Russia can be expected,” the head of the Party of Regions’ parliamentary faction, Alexander Yefremov, told reporters on Sunday.
He, in particular, noted that observers from Russia and Belarus monitor Ukraine’s ongoing parliamentary elections.
“When Russia or Belarus hold the elections, our representatives are also invited as observers,” he said. “There will be no changes. Moreover, closer cooperation with our great northern neighbour can be expected.”
