PETROPAVLOVSK KAMCHATSKY, October 26 (Itar-Tass) — Two earthquakes measuring 4.2 and 4.6 on the open-ended Richter scale hit Russia’s Kamchatka on Friday, October 26.

No casualties or damage have been reported, and there is no threat of tsunami, the press centre of the Far Eastern Regional Centre of the Emergencies Ministry told Itar-Tass.

The earthquakes centred 152 and 176 kilometres, respectively, southeast of Petropavlovsk Kamchatsky at a depth of 33 and 50 kilometres, accordingly.
