YEKATERINBURG, October 24 (Itar-Tass) —— One man died in a rockfall in a mine in Russia’s Sverdlovsk region, a spokesman for the regional administration of the Russian Investigations Committee told Itar-Tass on Wednesday.
According to the spokesman, the man who was engaged in blasting operations did not show up after his shift was over. “Rescuers spotted a rockfall and the dead body of the miner with numerous fractures. An investigation is underway,” the spokesman said.
