MOSCOW, October 24 (Itar-Tass) — Yulia Bystritskya, the former deputy director-general of the All-Russian State Radio and Television Company (VGTRK), has replaced Alexander Ponomarev as director-general of the TV-Tsentr (TVC-Moscow) channel, Alexander Gorbenko, Moscow’s deputy mayor in the city government for mass communications, inter-regional cooperation, sport and tourism, told journalists on Wednesday.

Gorbenko said that an extraordinary meeting of the TV-Tsentr open joint-stock society was held on Wednesday to discuss transition of the channel’s general director Alexander Ponomarev to another job.

Yulia Bystritskaya will take over her new office on October 29, up her new office on October 29, 2012.
