BARNAUL, October 24 (Itar-Tass) — Five municipal districts of the Altai Territory, Russia’s Siberia, were left without electricity after heavy snowfall, a source in Alataienergo company told Itar-Tass on Wednesday.

The reason for blackouts is slush build-up.

Efforts are taken to resolve the problem.

On October 22 residents of 100 populated settlements in the Altai Territory were left without light. The effects of bad weather were liquidated during 24 hours.
