NOVO-OGARYOVO, October 23 (Itar-Tass) —— Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed Gazprom to scrutinize the main principles of the gas export policy and to report the findings to the presidential commission for the fuel and energy complex strategy and ecological security.

“We have to be very flexible and precise in the way we operate in the energy market,” he said.

Putin told the Economic Development Ministry to adjust the general pattern of the gas industry’s development by 2030 and the East Gas Program.

“Priority must be attached to the domestic market, deep refining, gas chemistry development and the diversification of markets with a special emphasis on the Asian segment and means of delivering gas,” he said.
