MOSCOW, October 22 (Itar-Tass) — Leonid Razvozzhayev, a defendant in the criminal case that was opened after an inquiry of the information showed in the Anatomy of Protest-2 film and an aide to State Duma deputy Ilya Ponomarev, stated about his voluntary surrender, spokesman for the Russian Investigation Committee Vladimir Markin told Itar-Tass on Monday.

He recalled that on October 18 Razvozzhayev was put on the federal wanted list, and “on October 21 Razvozzhayev addressed himself in the Main Investigation Department of the Russian Investigation Committee and stated about his intention to state about his voluntary surrender.”

“In his voluntary surrender plea he stated about the details of masterminding massive disorders in Russia by him, Sergei Udaltsov, Konstantin Lebedev and other people, as well as the involvement of the foresaid people in massive disorders, which broke out on the Bolotnaya Square in Moscow on May 6,” Vladimir Markin said. “According to Razvozzhayev’s voluntary surrender plea, these disorders were funded by Givi Targamadze. All facts laid down in the voluntary surrender plea, as well as other arguments, will be checked thoroughly by the detectives,” Markin noted.

He also confirmed that the court ruled to put Leonid Razvozzhayev under arrest within a criminal case on masterminding massive disorders in Moscow and other Russian regions that was opened over the results of an inquiry in the facts showed in the Anatomy of Protest-2 film.

“Razvozzhayev was interrogated by the detectives as a suspect in the presence of the lawyer. The accusations are about to be brought against him soon under Article 30 Part 1 and Article 212 Part 1 of the Criminal Code for masterminding the massive disorders,” Markin added.

Under the law on the status of the senator of the Federation Council and the status of the deputy of the State Duma State Duma deputy Ilya Ponomarev received a notification about the arrest of his aide. Razvozzhayev’s relatives were also notified about his detention and criminal persecution against him.

Aide of the coordinator of the Left Front Konstantin Lebedev was earlier arrested in this criminal case. Sergei Udaltsov was released on recognizance not to leave the city.
