WASHINGTON, October 20 (Itar-Tass) —— The delayed flight of the Russian airlines Aeroflot has left Washington. Its passengers had spend nearly 24 hours at the airport waiting for the liner.
“The plane took off at 04:50 Moscow time. The flight to Moscow will take nine hours,” the airline’s official said.
The departure had been due on Thursday. But in bad weather the plane had landed late at night in New York. Its passengers were taken to Washington by bus. Some preferred to go on their own. Aeroflot promised to pay the expenses.
