GORKI, October 19 (Itar-Tass) — The Russian government has been studying a possibility of privatization of a package of Rosneft company in 2013-2014 under favorable market conditions, First Vice-premier Igor Shuvalov told journalists on Friday upon completion of a conference held by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev which focused on prospects for privatization of federal property.
"We are considering sale of Rosneft shares in 2013 and in 2014 and believe that as soon as the best opportunity to sell such a package offers itself the package will be sold,” Shuvalov said.
The Rosneft managers and the prime minister assumed a similar position, Shuvalov added. "We will work with high quality investors to attract them to Rosneft," Shuvalov said.
