MOSCOW, October 18 (Itar-Tass) —— Official accusations for masterminding massive disorders were brought against Konstantin Lebedev, an aide to Left Front coordinator Sergei Udaltsov, spokesman for the Russian Investigation Committee Vladimir Markin told Itar-Tass on Thursday.

“Today he was charged under Article 30 and 212 of the Russian Criminal Code for masterminding of massive disorders. He did not plead guilty and refused from testifying,” Markin said.

The criminal case over the masterminding of massive disorders was opened against the Left Front leader, his aide Konstantin Lebedev and Leonid Razvozzhayev, an aide of State Duma deputy Ilya Ponomarev, after the inquiry in the facts, which were showed in the film Anatomy of Protest-2. The film contained the video record of the debates over an opportunity of massive disorders in Moscow and some other Russian regions.

The searches were made at the residence places of the suspects. After the interrogation at the Investigation Committee Lebedev was detained, Udaltsov was released on recognizance not to leave the city.

Meanwhile, the detectives are checking the information about a possible masterminding of terrorist acts in Russia by the participants in the meeting recorded in the film. “If this information is proved a relevant legal assessment and the legal classification of the actions by Udaltsov and other participants, including Georgian citizens, in the meeting will be given,” Markin underlined.
