NOVO OGAREVO, October 17 (Itar-Tass) —— Russia will export more weapons this year than in 2011, President Vladimir Putin said.
“Export plans for this year have been implemented strictly: 10.7 billion U.S. dollars worth of military products had been exported by October 1, which is about 80 percent of the annual target figure for this year,” Putin said at a meeting of the Commission on Military-Technical Cooperation on Wednesday, October 17.
“We can expect more hardware and weapons to be exported this year than in 2011,” Putin said.
