One person dies in Tula region helicopter crash

MOSCOW, October 16 (Itar-Tass) — One person died when a privately-owned helicopter crashed in the Tula region, an official at the Emergency Situations Ministry told Itar-Tass on Tuesday.

"According to the information that came in at 16:43, Moscow time, the pilot of a privately-owned helicopter died in the crash in the Kimovsky district," the official said.

The accident was reported by a forest inspector, police said.

Preliminary reports said the crash had not caused any damage on the ground.
