NOVO-OGAREVO, October 15 (Itar-Tass) —— Russian President Vladimir Putin urged the local chiefs elected on Sunday to take into account businesslike proposals of the opposition.
“I hope that they (elected local chiefs) will pay attention to the demands of those, who failed to win at the elections. Far from all demands, which the opposition parties make, are unacceptable, on the contrary, there is a good deal of businesslike proposals,” the Russian president said at a meeting with head of the Russian Central Elections Commission Vladimir Churov on Monday.
Putin noted that all businesslike proposals “should be taken into account in the joint work.”
