Putin to hold conf on management of electric industry assets Mon

The president will also participate in a ceremony to put into technical operation the first phase of the Boguchany hydropower station (BHPS) in Krasnoyarsk Territory

MOSCOW, October 15 (Itar-Tass) — Participants in a conference to be held here by Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday are to discuss matters aimed at raising the efficiency of assets management in the electric network sector, the Kremlin press service reported.

The Head of State, in a video conference mode, will also participate in a ceremony to put into technical operation the first phase of the Boguchany hydropower station (BHPS) in Krasnoyarsk Territory. The construction of the BHPS was started in 1980. The BHPS will attain its full capacity in 2013 with a state-by-stage commissioning of other hydropower units. The BHPS is owned by the Rusal and RusHydro Companies.

Vice-Premier Arkady Dvorkovich, Assistant to the President Elvira Nabiullina, Minister of Energy Andrei Novak, presidential adviser Anton Ustinov, Olga Dergunova, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Head of the Federal Agency for the Management of Federal Property, Sergei Novikov, Director of the Federal Tariff Service, Igor Sechin, Executive Secretary of the Commisison to the President on the Strategy for the Development of the Fuel-and-Energy Sector and Environmental Safety, and the management of the FSK (federal network company) Unified Energy Systems and the MRSK (interregional distribution network companies) Holding are to be present at the conference chaired by the President.
