United Russia leading elections to Vladivostok city Duma

After counting 52.3 percent of protocols, United Russia is scoring 39.5 percent of the vote. Next comes the Communist Party (CPRF), with 20 percent of votes

MOSCOW, October 14 (Itar-Tass) —— The ruling United Russia party is leading elections to the local parliament in Russia’s Far Eastern city of Vladivostok, a spokesman for the Russian Central Election Commission said on Sunday after processing of more than a half of protocols from local elections commissions.

After counting 52.3 percent of protocols, United Russia is scoring 39.5 percent of the vote. Next comes the Communist Party (CPRF), with 20 percent of votes. The A Just Russia party is winning 11.5 percent of votes, the Liberal Democratic Party (LDPR) – 8.21 percent, and party For Women of Russia – 4.11 percent.

In all, 12 political parties are vying for seats in the city legislature.
