Turnout in gubernatorial elections in 4 Russian region ranges from 27 to 40%

MOSCOW, October 14 (Itar-Tass) —— The highest turnout in the Sunday gubernatorial elections in four Russian constituent regions is reported from the Belgorod region, with 40 percent of eligible voters having already cast their ballots, Valery Kryukov, a member of the Russian Central Election Commission (CEC), told reported.

As of 14:00 Moscow time, the turnout in the Belgorod region was 39.57 percent, in the Bryansk region – 32.03 percent, in the Ryazan region – 29.58 percent, and in the Novgorod region – 27.64 percent.

Polling stations in these regions will be closed at 20:00 Moscow time.

Earlier on Sunday, voting at the gubernatorial elections was over in the Far Eastern Amur region. Turnout data will be announced later.
