MOSCOW, October 14 (Itar-Tass) — The local elections commission in the Moscow region’s Khimki received 50 stereotyped claims from a mayoral candidate Evgeniya Chirikova, but none of them were confirmed, Deputy Head of Russia’s Central Elections Commission Leonid Ivlev told reporters on Sunday.

“The local elections commission in Khimki received 50 claims – they are stereotype claims, where numbers of polling stations were inserted by hand, and which claimed violations,” he said.

Ivlev added that all claims had been presented by Evgeniya Chirikova and all of them were about billboards with a picture of acting Mayor Oleg Shakhov, who is also running for the position of mayor: she claimed the billboards were near polling stations.

“The violations were not confirmed,” Ivlev said. “In general, the elections /in Khimki/ are quiet.”
