Moscow-Warsaw train collides with truck, none of passengers hurt

WARSAW, October 12 (Itar-Tass) —— A "Polonaise" passenger train on the way from Moscow to Warsaw collided with a truck near the Polish capital in the area of Rembertow, Polish railways press secretary Krzysztof Lancucki told Itar-Tass on Friday.

The train collided with a truck that was on the rails. None of the passengers in the train was hurt. According to police reports, three people in the truck were slightly injured.

The train supposedly moved at a slow speed. It was not seriously damaged in the collision.

The accident occurred early in the morning. According to the schedule, the Polonaise train was expected to arrive in Warsaw at about 08:30 local time (10:30 Moscow time), but it was delayed. The train remained at the site until police completed their work there.
