MOSCOW, October 11 (Itar-Tass) —— The detectives scheduled a phonoscopic expertise of the video materials, on which the documentary Anatomy of Protest-2 is based, spokesman for the Russian Investigation Committee Vladimir Markin told Itar-Tass on Thursday.

“I can also say that during the inquiry the detectives have already received from the NTV television company the video materials, on which the documentary is based. These video materials are being examined and a phonoscopic expertise will be conducted soon. Upon the results of all investigative actions a procedural assessment will be given to the actions of Sergei Udaltsov and other people, who were participating in the talks over masterminding massive disorders at a meeting, which was showed in the documentary Anatomy of Protest-2,” Markin said.

“At the interrogation Udaltsov confirmed the fact of contacts in the summer of 2012 with unnamed Georgian citizens, one of whom he called as Georgy Vasilyevich. However, he explained that he pursued the goal to find a legal financial source for the Left Front movement. Meanwhile, he denied that he discussed with them the masterminding of illegal actions in Moscow and other Russian regions,” Markin underlined.

As for concrete video recorded statements of the participants in the talks over masterminding the foresaid illegal actions, Udaltsov explained that he did not hear them at the moment of the meeting, the spokesman for the Investigation Committee said.

Udaltsov’s aide Konstantin Lebedev and Leonid Razvozzhayev, an aide of State Duma deputy Ilya Ponomarev, who were participating in the meeting together with Udaltsov, were also summoned in the Investigation Committee on Thursday. “However, they did not turn up at the fixed time without notifying the detective about the reasons for the failure to turn up,” Markin underlined.

The second part of the highly publicized documentary Anatomy of Protest was showed on the NTV television channel on October 5. The authors of the film exposed a scheme of financial support to the off-system opposition. According to the authors of the film, this financial support could have been provided by former president of the Bank of Moscow Andrei Borodin, former head of the Georgian parliamentary committee for defence and security Givi Targamadze acted as a mediator and coordinator of the Left Front Sergei Udaltsov acted as a perpetrator of the plan to intensify the protesting movement in Russia.

The Russian Investigation Committee launched a pre-investigation inquiry in the facts, which are showed in the documentary. The Prosecutor General’s Office is also conducting its inquiry.
