MOSCOW, October 11 (Itar-Tass) — The Moscow Mayor’s Office did not permit the opposition to hold a rally in support of the elections in the so-called coordination council. The rally was planned to hold in the Novopushkinsky yard on October 21.

“We refused to authorize a public event in the Novopushkinsky yard, the organizers were offered to find another venue,” deputy head of the Moscow regional security department Vasily Oleinik told Itar-Tass on Thursday.

The Moscow Mayor’s Office earlier refused to authorize an opposition rally in the Novopushkinsky yard on October 20, proposing them to hold a protest action at the Central House of Artist. “We did not receive any responses to our proposals yet,” Oleinik said.
