MOSCOW, October 9 (Itar-Tass) —— A minimum wage in Moscow will be 12,200 roubles from July 1, 2013, according to draft agreement between the Moscow authorities, city trade unions and unions of employers that has recently been endorsed by the Moscow three-party commission for settling social and labor relations.
According to Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, the average wage in Moscow is four time as big as the minimum wage and reaches 50,000 roubles.
Under the three-party agreement for 2012, the minimum wage was fixed at 11,700 roubles from July 2012 and will stay at this level through the first six months of 2013.
