MOSCOW, October 9 (Itar-Tass) —— The talks between Foreign Ministers of Russia and Iraq, Sergei Lavrov and Hoshiyar Zebari have yielded a protocol on cooperation between the two foreign ministries.
The two ministers met on Tuesday in Moscow. Zebari is currently staying in the Russian capital as a member of an Iraqi delegation led by Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki. Earlier in the day, al-Maliki met with his Russian counterpart Dmitri Medvedev and is planned to have talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday.
