Aerobus A320 makes emergency landing on way to Petersburg

The plane landed safely, none of the passengers was hurt

BERLIN, October 9 (Itar-Tass) —— A plane belonging to Air France made an emergency landing in Leipzig on Tuesday when the plane was on the way to St. Petersburg, the press service of Leipzig air harbor reported Tuesday.

The Aerobus A-320 made an emergency landing on the way from Paris to St.Petersburg, the local media said. The plane landed safely, none of the passengers was hurt.

The passengers will have to continue the flight to St. Petersburg on board a different flight AF2252 also performed by Air France, a spokeswoman for the Air France KLM Deutschland company told Itar-Tass.

There were 100 passengers, including a child, on board, the spokeswoman said. She did not say what caused the pilots to make the emergency landing. She did not say either how many Russian citizens were on board.
