MAKHACHKALA, October 9 (Itar-Tass) —— The law enforcers are carrying out an operation in the outskirts of Makhachkala in order to destroy several gunmen and find their camps, which are located in the forest around the city, the press centre of the Dagestani Interior Ministry told Itar-Tass in comments on two Tuesday morning blasts, which woke up the residents of Makhachkala.
“No double terrorist acts and other attempts on the life of law enforcers and civilians were committed,” the press centre reported.
According to sources in the Dagestani law enforcement agencies, two strong blasts were caused by the fact that the army aviation delivered air strikes on the presumed location of the gunmen in the outskirts of Agachaul.
