VLADIVOSTOK, October 9 (Itar-Tass) —— Russia’s EMERCOM assists Venezuela and Nicaragua in organisation of informing systems and of anti-crisis management, Minister Vladimir Puchkov told the 6th APEC Senior Disaster Management Officials Forum on Tuesday.
The minister said that several countries are interested in Russian technologies of preventing emergency situations and of reacting to them.
“In Venezuela /jointly with EMERCOM/ there are activities to organize system of informing people. In Nicaragua we plan to modernize the National centre for disaster relief on the basis of Russian technologies,” he said.
Besides, Russia may promote in India technologies of its national centre for managing crisis situations, he added.
