VLADIVOSTOK, October 8 (Itar-Tass) — Russia’s Emergency Situations Ministry (EMERCOM) will prepare a program for the ministry development until 2030, EMERCOM head Vladimir Puchkov said on Monday at a meeting of the working group on cooperation in the field of prevention and liquidation of emergency situations of the US-Russian Bilateral Presidential Commission.
“I’ve set the task to prepare the EMERCOM development program until 2030,” he said. According to him, not all agree that the ministry needs a development program for such a long period. “But the current cadets, young people who in 2030 will be only 35-40 years old, should be aware of the main directions of the ministry development,"| Puchkov said.
