Criminal case opened over shooting from wedding motorcade in Moscow

Following the order of the Russian Interior Ministry's Main Department for Moscow, the information was immediately checked

MOSCOW, October 7 (Itar-Tass) —— A criminal case is opened over the shooting from a wedding motorcade in central Moscow, the Moscow police press service told Itar-Tass on Saturday.

Immediately after the incident when fire was opened from traumatic arms in central Moscow on September 30, Moscow police through mass media asked witnesses of the incident to give evidence.

With the help of reporters, police found and questioned a woman, a Moscow resident, whose three-old son was slightly injured, supposedly in the incident. The woman said her child was hit in the face by a piece of a car light broken by a bullet fired from a traumatic pistol.

Following the order of the Russian Interior Ministry's Main Department for Moscow, the information was immediately checked.

With the aim to establish all the circumstances of the incident, the Moscow police investigation department opened a criminal case over the fact of disorderly conduct, police sources said.
