Russia's Consulate in Turkey giving assistance to road accident victims

As a result of the accident one person died and others received medium-heavy and light traumas

MOSCOW, October 5 (Itar-Tass) -- Russia's Consulate General in the Turkish Mediterranean beach city of Antalya is providing all the necessary assistance to the tourists, who were affected by a road accident Friday morning, and it is keeping up permanent contacts with local authorities, a spokesman for the Russian Foreign Ministry told Itar-Tass.

The accident involved a bus that was carrying a group of 23 Russian holidaymakers from Antalya airport to the town of Kemer. The group had arrived by an early morning flight from Moscow.

The holidaymakers purchased their tours from Intourist, one of the oldest and largest tour companies in Russia.

As a result of the accident one person died and others received medium-heavy and light traumas.
