MOSCOW, October 3 (Itar-Tass) — An attach· of the Chinese embassy in Moscow has run over a woman in Moscow, driving into a one- way traffic lane in the wrong direction, a Moscow law enforcement source told Itar-Tass on Wednesday.
The incident took place on Tuesday morning when the diplomat 's car was heading to Prospect Vernadskogo from Udaltsova street in the southwest of Moscow. The diplomat ran over the 32- year- old woman who had arrived in Moscow from Kyrgyzstan. The woman, who received a severe brain injury and had her arm and neck injured in the incident, was hospitalized, the Moscow law enforcers said. The Chinese diplomat violated traffic rules, driving in the wrong direction into a one-way traffic lane, they said.
An investigation into the incident continues.
Law enforcement bodies have made no official comment on the incident so far.
