First Russian GLONASS demonstration room opens in India

The company offers a training course for partners and personnel

NEW DELHI, October 2 (Itar-Tass) — The first demonstration hall of the Russian company GLONASS navigation and information systems /NIS GLONASS/ has opened in Mumbai, the capital of the state of Maharashtra. Potential partners will be able to familiarize themselves with the firm's products, director of the India-GLONASS program Vladimir Finov told Itar-Tass on Tuesday.

The company offers a training course for partners and personnel. Another demonstration hall is due to be opened in New Delhi. "If our business is successful, we might open another two new full-fledged centers in India's key regions, with which we'll be cooperating, and small centers at the offices of our regional partners," Finov said.

Last year, NIS GLONASS registered an affiliate in Mumbai with the view of launching production and developing software for the Indian market and supporting the all-Indian partners network.

NIS GLONASS is the system integrator of the largest projects to introduce GLONASS technologies in Russia.
