Parliamentary elections begin in Georgia

Some 3,719 polling stations were opened

TBILISI, October 1 (Itar-Tass) —— The parliamentary elections began in Georgia at 08:00 Moscow time on Monday.

Some 3,719 polling stations were opened, where 3,613,851 voters can cast their votes in the republic.

The voters are to elect 150 deputies, including 77 deputies on the party lists and 73 deputies in majority constituencies.

The parliamentary elections will be found valid regardless the turnout, as the election code does not require it.
