Wedding motorcade detained in downtown Moscow for shooting into air

No one was hurt. An investigation is underway

MOSCOW, September 30 (Itar-Tass) — Moscow police detained on Sunday a wedding motorcade for shooting into the air in the centre of the city, a spokesman for the Moscow police department told Itar-Tass.

According to the spokesman, traffic police blocked eight wedding cars at the intersection of the Mokhovaya and Tverskaya Streets, just a stone’s throw from the Kremlin, for shooting into the air. Several persons (born in North Caucasian republics) were detained.

No one was hurt. An investigation is underway.

Meanwhile, the police ask eyewitnesses to show up.
