MOSCOW, September 29 (Itar-Tass) —— The fire at the plant in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area is brought under control, a source at the Emergencies Ministry's Ural regional centre told Itar-Tass.
The fire at the sludge-treatment plant is localized, the source said. According to the updated information, one died and eight people were injured in the fire. The fate of two people is unknown.
The fire broke out at the sludge-utilization plant on Saturday morning. The blaze swept 4,000 sq m.
The plant is located 66 km north of the city of Khanty-Mansiisk.
The work to extinguish the fire is continuing.
