MOSCOW, September 28 (Itar-Tass) — Russia’s State Duma has stripped its member Ilya Ponomaryov, of the right to address the house for one month. The measure is a punishment for his insulting phrase addressed to some of his fellow legislators.

The ban will be effective from October 16 through November 16.

At the last full-scale meeting the lower house’s spring session on July 13 Ponomaryov used the phrase “cheaters and thieves.”
