CARACAS, September 28 (Itar-Tass) — Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez thanked his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin for a Russian Black Terrier puppy presented to him. Speaking at a signing ceremony of several agreements for cooperation between the Russian oil company Rosneft and the Venezuelan state-run oil and gas concern Petroleos de Venezuela on Thursday, Chavez said that he decided to name a puppy as Russo that means Russian in the translation from the Spanish language.
“The puppy is very nice, we already began to train it,” the leader of the Bolivarian Revolution said.
Rosneft President Igor Sechin, who is on a working visit to Venezuela, presented a three-month-old puppy to Hugo Chavez.
