NOVO-OGARYOVO, September 27 (Itar-Tass) —— The state should do a great deal yet to support families which have many children to support, President Putin declared at a meeting with Acting governor of the Ryzan region Oleg Kovalyov and public representatives of the region on Thursday. Anna Ryazantseva, a mother of 15 children, including ten children adopted into the family, attended the meeting with the president.
" In practical life we should give support to people such as you, who love children, put their soul in their upbringing and who are concerned about threats which the mass media might pose to children. We should lay the emphasis on our traditional values all together," Putin said. The traditional values had always constituted the core of the strength of our country, and enabled us to build, win and fly into space. But we should do a great deal yet in support of such families as yours,” Putin said, addressing Anna Ryazantseva.
Putin asked the woman about the living conditions of the family. She said that the regional governor gave a Gazel jeep in gift to the family, and that thanks to the governor's support the family moved into a big house of 280 square meters of floor space situated inside the city's administrative border, which enabled the children to study at school, study music and go to gyms. The regional governor also told Putin that the regional authorities have been cooperating with a NGO organization, which will provide eight more houses for big families.
Regrettably, the situation in many large families is not yet as good as in the family of Anna Ryazantseva, Putin said. Therefore, we have to do a great deal yet to enable those families to reach this standard, the president said. Putin reacted positively to the fact that the regional administration offered a land plot for the house on a territory within the city administrative border, which offered the family access to all the bodies of the social infrastructure.
